Last night, FTCSC hosted its final Mentoring Session of the year for our incredible first-year teachers! It has been an inspiring journey watching these educators grow, learn, and lead in their classrooms throughout the district.

This program, led by Assistant Superintendent Jeff Murphy, has been a cornerstone of support this year. We want to extend a huge thank you to the many teacher speakers who stepped up to share their expertise, stories, and "pro-tips" during our sessions. Your insights have been invaluable.

The heartbeat of this program is our Mentors. This initiative wouldn't be what it is without the dedicated, veteran teachers who served as guides, cheerleaders, and resources for our first-year staff. Thank you for your time, your patience, and your commitment to excellence in education.

To our first-year teachers: Congratulations on nearing the finish line of your inaugural year! We are so proud to have you in the FTCSC family!

The FTCSC Central Office team had the privilege of cooking and serving lunch for the incredible staff at Franklin Central Junior High, and what a great day it was to celebrate such a dedicated group of educators.

Franklin Central Junior High has an amazing story worth sharing. Originally opened in 2008 as Franklin Township Middle School East, the building has grown alongside our district, expanding its classrooms and performance arts spaces to better serve students. Since the 2020–2021 school year, it has proudly stood as the junior high for our FTCSC Flashes Community, preparing all 7th and 8th-grade students for success at Franklin Central High School and beyond. Proudly, this is the Home of the Flashes!

And there is so much to be proud of.

From strong academic offerings like We the People, which deepens students’ understanding of civic responsibility, to expanded world language opportunities in French, German, and Spanish, FCJH continues to raise the bar. FCJH's performing arts programs consistently shine, with students earning top honors across show choir, band, jazz, percussion, and ISSMA competitions, including multiple gold ratings and perfect scores.

Athletics are equally impressive, with multiple county and conference championships, invitational wins, and a continued commitment to developing the whole student-athlete.

Beyond the classroom, students are finding their passions through a wide range of clubs and activities, from Junior Thespians and Robotics to National Junior Honor Society and Business Professionals of America.

To the staff of Franklin Central Junior High: thank you! Your commitment, energy, and belief in students make all of this possible. You Make A Difference in our students each day.
